The Church & The Slave Trade – A Perspective

I have hummed and hawed as to whether to write on this and when, however, in the interests of those seeking forgiveness and reconciliation, I feel the more awareness we all have, then the more we can follow the breadcrumbs to piece together the true history of our planet.  For the purposes of transparency my connection to this topic is as follows:

  • As a descendant from a family who campaigned for the abolition of slavery. On a personal level, I do not feel slavery has been abolished.
  • As a mother to two children of African descent, specifically the Kukuyu tribe from Lake Bukoba on the shores of Lake Victoria (part of Uganda). I support the healing of my children and one of them recently shifted the ancestral legacy of a relative eleven generations down who lost the will to live being transported in chains to the coast of East Africa
  • As a land healer. Last year, I started my service work here on this planet.  I am called to locations across the world and those I can I do in person.  Those sites in the south of England where I live are often church land which have seen some traumatic events throughout our history.  To those who undertake this work, we are spread far and wide and tend to work alone.  During my church visits, I encountered a number of churches on the list linked to the slave trade and it is this information, I would like to introduce.
  • As a practicing Catholic. My faith is an integral part of who I am.  I am well aware of the incongruence some may feel or ponder in this.  If so, that is your inner work and reflection.  I am peace.

I don’t know how it popped up on my screen, however, I became aware of the work the Church of England is undertaking in relation to reconciliation.  More information can be found here: The Fund for Healing, Repair and Justice – A seed for growth and change (hrjfund.org).  My guides (from across the veil) are supportive of me writing about my work, I just hope it is as well supported here in physicality.  I am sticking my neck out a bit and the what I see (I am clairvoyant) isn’t pleasant.  It can also be judged as highly subjective and for those who need proof, I would just ask you to read on in your heart space and put the critique aside.  My involvement as part of my service is to restore the grid of the planet.  There should be ten thousand of us according to Dolores Cannon’s predictions.  Instead, less than a quarter of us are undertaking our service work.  Its grim.  It unpaid.  And I have had to structure my life to make it happen.

At every site I visited, generally on a powerful point on the energetic grid (I don’t want to enter a debate about the terminology of ley lines etc as I feel there is no consensus yet), there had been much trauma.  In the ether, this left a vortex like structure, just like water going down a plug hole, where souls had become trapped and unable to fully transition after death.  The energetic structures also absorbed all the good surrounding energies like a vacuum, leaving behind something that if you were sensitive would make you consider why you wanted to be in this place.  No wonder church attendance has declined – could this possibly be a reason in the collective subconscious?

My reason to be at these sites, was to close these structures down.  Apparently, I have the soul knowledge to do this and I just have to trust for I, like many others, are doing this work with fragmented memories of who we actually are.  In closing them down, I then support the transition of multiple souls across the planes and dimensions.  And for those who struggle to transition, I sit and listen to their stories.  I cry a lot.  I pass all their emotion through my physical body.  And it takes time.  There’s no clock watching, it’s just a job that needs doing.  When I arrive, I build a crystal grid.  And an etheric grid around the site so I am not disturbed.  I sing:  The Lords My Shepherd.  On leaving, I collect up my crystals and go home.  I am well supported with galactic energies across the veil, the clean-up crew is big.  It’s not easy.  It’s heartbreaking and I have to do my best to stay as a neutral as possible.  Otherwise, it would eat me alive.  History has not been kind.

These are the locations I was called to go to and what I saw, linked to the slave trade in the South of England:

  • St.Giles, Great Wishford. Near Salisbury.  The church here held the energetic of seeding the slave trade.  Slaves were seen as chattels and trades in the same way cloth or spices were.  The purpose of the slave trade was twofold – to make money for the church i.e. as a business venture and to spread misery across the planet. Great Wishford has a number of stones in relation to poverty and hunger.  There was a lot of suffering here in the local community as the land owner was a tyrant.  He had a number of large horrible dogs which were greatly feared.  I also picked up energies of child abductions from the heart of Salisbury.  Children did not survive.  Thank you to Rowan and her dog, Loki, who came with me and supported at this site.
  • St.Thomas of Canterbury, Coulston. Near Prison, Erlestoke.  The only church I did whilst others were around, it was being renovated.  At first, I couldn’t understand why I was here, but it all made sense when I spoke with the local tradesmen who gave me a potted history.  The nearby open prison, Erlestoke, was on the site of the former home of a major participant in the slave trade.  The house has since been demolished.  The site nearby is that of the open prison: which will still energetically hold the imprint of the house.  The trauma associated with the church was the abduction of children and their mother’s despair.  Families migrated to this area as it was known for both work and the abundant harvest so people were well fed.  Unfortunately, quietly behind the scenes there was suffering.
  • St.Mary’s Redcliffe, Bristol. The first image I had of this place was piles of bodies outside the church.  This is where the slaves were sorted.  I receive visions.  In this case, babies unattended in a pile removed from their mothers, children to right of the aisle behind bars, and traumatised women slaughtered in front of others.  The healthy slaves were put back on the boats to Americas.  I couldn’t understand how this could possibly be a church, but this revealed itself.  Women were kept onsite (slaves) to clean the church after sorting events.  They were kept as prisoner’s downstairs.  Their suicide rate was horrific – I witnesses a mass suicide event where all one group took their own lives.
  • St.Peter’s Church, Holwell near Sherbourne, Dorset – on the way home, I stopped here. Slaves were kept here and on occasion starved.  I have written more about this here: The Other End of the Cerne Abbas Ley Line – Holwell Church near Sherborne, Dorset – Community Retreats
  • St.Peter, Winterbourne Stoke, near Stonehedge. This site affected me badly (please remember I am seeing a point in time and history, which others may not associate with).  It was the only church I was afraid to enter.  On walking up the path I had a vision I cannot repeat.   This is where the slaves were sold.  Some tried to escape to the nearby forest and were mauled by dogs.  I sat for many hours listening to the souls, guiding them on their way.  I was disorientated after.  This was difficult to process this one as I had no one I could discuss this with.  I held this for weeks and had to take a break from my work.
  • St.Peter’s Church, West Tytherly – This felt more like a court house. The landowner was reluctant to house them but was leant on to, in exchange for wealth and status.  He treated them as well as he could i.e., they were fed, watered, allowed to wash and did not experience threatening behaviour.  This was a transit point.  Stuck souls were from other occurrences – it’s time as a court house and in relation to the War Memorials.
  • Winchester Cathedral. Slaves were collected here by horse and carriage to go further inland (north or to London).  A mother and her child climbed to the top and threw themselves off from the highest point.  The energetics were extraordinary in this place.  I heard from another that the Cathedral was flooded soon after.  I wonder if closing the vortex had an effect?
  • Stanton St Bernard. I had left this until last.  It was clear why I had been avoiding it.  The horse on the hill was a signpost.  The church held the energy of children.  Children suffered and died at this site. On the wall of the church is a mural of children as angels.  Where the alter is, windows honouring children who died.  The trapped souls were children so it’s understandable as the energy of children was very strong.  These were children sorted at Bristol.  Mostly boys too young to work.

Where do we go from here?  My service is a tiny piece of the pie.  An insignificant aspect that can get me laughed at or ridiculed.  What I see is devasting and what I see and feel, I have to process physically, mentally, emotionally and spirituality.  It requires much forgiveness and something that I dig deep for.

In my healing, I could ask for more information.  Who did it?  Who’s responsible?  Who was the land owner? Who were the three men who came up with the idea of the slave trade?  I don’t seek these answers as I don’t feel it would change things.  I would still be called to heal the land regardless because that is am guided to do.  We can only change the way we perceive a situation, remove and heal our anger towards these events and find our inner peace.
