Guides.  Those humble, irritating, loving, annoying parts of the universe that shimmy you along either consciously or unconsciously.  Guides.  What are they? Who are they? And why?  Guides often step forward in healing sessions with clients and I am delighted when they do.  Quietly it’s a “Yay!” from me, particularly when it’s for the first time and encouragement to the individual that they are firmly on their path.  Oftentimes, the client just needs a little reassurance about those on the side-lines.

Guides.  There are different ones:

v  Ancestors – these rock up from time to time from the other side of the veil to support healing.  For example, my son is working with a recently deceased uncle to undertake healing of the ancestral line.  Hendrick presents as a very cold air in my face, but he’s getting more subtle with practice!  More about Ancestral Healing can be found here: Ancestral Healing: Healing For The Future Generations – Community Retreats

v  Personnel guides – Your higher self.  The number can vary, often two, sometime three.  I guess that might be a function of which dimension you originate from.  Some first show in healing sessions: they are stood waiting in the wings for a vibrational/energetic shift by your good self, others can turn up in dream time.  We each are different; it’s being aware to their presence and purpose at first.  Then you get to know them and to be honest can be quite fun, particularly given the tasks at hand: healing, more healing etc.

v  Known figures in history who have gone before e.g., Mary Magdalene, mighty warriors.  These tend to pitch up when things get juicy or more challenging.  They tend to be for a specific reason and at a particular juncture to provide insight and assistance.   Like our path, the experiences can be very revealing and enlightening, it’s up to each of us to explore.

v  Species guides – you’ll know when they show, this piece will figure out all in good time for you. 

Guides, an etheric spiritual mentor, come from many different dimensional spaces.  I perceive it to be linked to your frequency at that particular moment and what your sense of purpose is.  Like most things, be mindful of illusions (Illusion & Finding Your Way Through – Community Retreats) & energies masquerading, check three times, in heart centre etc. 

Why do we have them?  Well in short, to help us navigate the land of everything-we-have-forgotten.  At some stage they do step back as you become more and more connected with your true/higher self, which can be weird and disconcerting but nonetheless empowering at the same time. 

At the end of day you designed this, so make the most of it and enjoy their company.  Afterall where else are you going to get yourself your own personal cheerleading team!
