Anxiety As A Gift

I kid yee not.  As an experiencer of anxiety and after some seven years of trudging through personal healing (in addition to thirty years of suffering with mind health conditions which is no more), I see anxiety very much as a gift.  A reminder that something is out of alignment; a reminder to reflect and find quiet time; a reminder to go within and explore the why?  Whilst mental health practitioners may see this differently, I very much see anxiety as something that cannot be ignored but offering an opportunity for transformation.

Ignore at your peril.  This is the path to panic attacks.  Anxiety can be a minefield to navigate, a plethora of considerations.  Are you grounded?  (i.e. fully within your physicality).  Are you protecting your energy field?  Or picking up everyone else’s crap?  Are you managing via avoidance?  That’s not going to solve things in the long run.  Anxiety can be triggered by a multitude of things and often this can be environmental.

It was about four and half years ago when I started to rethink anxiety.  I would go into the same environment and get triggered.  It became intolerable as the place could not be avoided.  Some days it would be okay, other times I would return home a jittery heap.  The environment was a community space.  Plenty going on, lots of energies around and many people passing through.  It was overwhelmed.  So, left with limited choice, I reflected within.

This became the induction to clearing house and land energies, working remotely via astral projection and trusting what I see.  At the time it was a huge ask.  The buildings and land where I was triggered, was on a broken ley line (now fixed), in an area of considerable history.  I hadn’t quite anticipated I would be called to clear the energies of the place as a warm up to other work that I do.

Old buildings hold history – good or bad.  Healing community buildings is possible under the spiritual law of grace.  I wouldn’t walk into someone’s home and do this, but as a community building and one where my children were spending considerable time, there was no conflict.  It was as if the place had been waiting and I was well supported in doing the work.

Key to following your intuition, your inner path, going within, is an open mind.  Critical is moving away from head-based solutions that indeed require our heart and soul.  Since, I have never looked back.  On each occasion that anxiety seeks to surface, I keep an open mind and the desire to go within.  The outside world and its incongruence are a mere reflection of the inner world.  The opportunity to shift and transform is there each time.

I remain on a personal level concerned about the limitations of aspects of mental health management such as anxiety.  I do not believe the answer lies in the head.  Talking about stuff helps, yet, but endlessly medicating the Rockefeller model does not solve alignment – it contains it.  Homeopathy is a great alternative for supporting those with anxiety but how many are offered or aware of this?  How often is one called to go quiet and within as we are programmed to seek a solution externally.

My suggestion if you are indeed an experiencer of anxiety is to think differently about your situation and that actually there is validity about the way you feel and within (or with the support of a healer) you will find the answers your intuition so seeks.
